A page listing all the challenges which I’m taking part. Starting from 2013.

Finished challenges:

• The 2014 Sci-Fi Experience was a short, two months only (December/January) SF related “challenge”. You can read more on Stainless Steel Droppings blog.
• What’s in a Name Reading Challenge 2014 is a challenge hosted by my Indonesian friend, Ren. This was a January-March challenge for reading books which have a character’s name in the title. Rereads, comics and graphics novels were possible. Levels again, so I went for the lowest level – 3-5 books. I read 4 books.
• Polacy nie gęsi II is a second edition of the Polish literature challenge. Its goal is to read at least 12 books by Polish writers. Ends in September 2014. I read 12 books.

Ongoing challenges

2014 challenges

• A to Z 2014 World Books Challenge is my own challenge I created to read more books from around the world. To clear the challenge, I (and you, if you join) need to read at least 2 books from the countries I’ll specify. You can read also bonus books and collect more points to be on the top of the list of readers.
• 2014 World Culture Challenge is another challenge I created. It’s bimonthly, and it focus on the culture (literature, films, music, etc.) from around the world.
• Around the World in 12 Books 2014 Challenge is a challenge that focuses on the location of the story.
• The Full House Reading Challenge. Choose 25 books to read anytime you want, given each book fulfils a given requirement.
• New Authors Reading Challenge 2014 hosted by Ren. Choose your level and start reading books written by new author for you. Only fiction books over 200 pages are valid for the challenge. No graphic novels, comics, anthologies, etc. I’m choosing the middle level – 15-30 books. The rules are in Indonesian, but I can translate that, if interested.
• W 16 książek dookoła Polski (In 16 Books Around Poland) is Forum Książki‘s challenge on reading 16 books about Poland, 1 from each province.
• My Goodreads challenge – read 52 books in 2014.

Seems like a lot? Yes, I think so too. But I’m choosing books that could be used for more than just one challenge. 😉 I’m playing on the safe side, so I try the challenges around 24 books (which is the minimum for passing my own A to Z challenge).
