Fantastic World Stories Start

I have read 3/196 Fantastic World Stories.

Two of the stories are written by 19-century writers (Japan and Spain), one is post-war (Romania). Actually Romanian book is an anthology of one writer’s short stories.

Japan

Kaidan botan dourou Polish versionOriginal title: Kaidan botan dourou

Author: Sanyuutei Enchoo

It was great to read it, but there is hardly any language distinction between characters, which was a strong point for the original work. I love the story and how fates are tied together. I definitely recommend it.

Romania

Niezwykły koncert Polish coverOriginal title: Proza. Excertii de stil

Author: Romulus Vulpescu

An anthology of short stories – very realistic ones with a fantastical twist to it. Can’t choose the best story, each one has “something” in it. I recommend it.

Spain

La Sombra Polish versionOriginal title: La Sombra (English: The Shadow)

Author: Benito Perez Galdos

The worst of it all, but still good. A one man story of being tortured by a certain ghost…

Did you read any of them? Can you recommend me some other books for the project?
